Acting locally

One of the Government’s key pledges is decentralisation and the move towards localism. Homeless Link is working to build relationships with leading local authorities who are leading the way in tackling homelessness and who are committed to ending rough sleeping by 2012. 

Our aim is to support the sector’s advocacy in local areas and to deveop an overview of what is happening across the country.  We do this by developing resources to support our members in developing their own local influencing skills and by lobbying on behalf of the sector at a local strategic level.  This section focuses on our local influencing activity.
