No Second Night Out - the approach for areas with low numbers

Who should use this guidance?:
Local authorites with low numbers of rough sleepers
Summary:

The Government has called on every local authority to adopt the No Second Night Out standard - how each one achieves this will be different.

Homeless Link produced a full guidance document to support the adoption of NSNO. Whilst it takes into account the varying nature of local authorities around the country, this additional guidance specifically addresses the needs of areas with low numbers of rough sleepers arriving and a lower level of provision. We are predominantly addressing the needs of rural or semi-rural districts.

Homeless Link's full guidance on supporting local authorities and their partners to develop a service offer for people new to the streets that meets the No Second Night Out standard can be found here: www.homeless.org.uk/effective-action/NSNO.
