Who should use this guidance?:
Local authorities and voluntary sector services involved in developing no second night out responses
Summary:

This guidance supports local authorities and their partners to meet the No Second Night Out standard by developing a service offer for people new to the streets.

Practice examples from NSNO projects around England are included, along with templates to help you with service development. We have tried to cover all elements of developing a single service offer for people that are new to the streets. In some areas some of this provision will already exist, and this guidance also helps you to consider how to fill gaps or restructure existing services to meet the standard, rather than develop an entirely new offer.

The guidance includes learning, template and sample documents and is structured around the five principles of the Government’s 2011 strategy 'Vision to end rough sleeping: No Second Night Out nationwide'.
