Gary Messenger

Gary Messenger is Homeless Link's Head of London and the South East. His role is to oversee the work of the organisation in London and the South East and has particular responsibility for leading on the process of ending rough sleeping by 2012. Before joining Homeless Link Gary worked in the Rough Sleeper's Unit and subsequently was the head of The Homelessness Programme at the DCLG, where his main responsibility was to support local authorities develop strategies to tackle and prevent homelessness effectively. Gary has worked in the homelessness sector for 10 years.

PAUL ANDERSON

Paul Anderson is a Regional Manager for London. He has had particular responsibility for leading on the process of ending rough sleeping in the capital by 2012. Paul has worked in the homelessness field for over 18 years, he has a degree from Oxford University, a professional qualification in Housing as well as personal experience of being homeless.

CAITRIONA CARNEY

Caitriona is a Regional Manager for London. Her main focus in the region is to offer support, advice and guidance to homelessness organisations to improve their services and become Places of Change. Caitriona works with Local Authorities to demonstrate how their work contributes to Local Area Agreements. She also works to support Local Authorities to develop preventative responses to rough sleeping and homelessness. Caitriona is the lead contact for work on MOPP and Clean Break.

JANE BANCROFT

Jane is Homeless Link’s London Development Officer for the London Councils funded projects. Her main focus is to offer support, advice and guidance to the 20 London Council funded organisations to improve their services. Jane has a degree in urban studies from Sheffield Hallam University and has worked at St Mungo’s and North West London Mental Health Trust. While at Homeless Link she has worked on the Homeless London website and the London Hostels Directory.
