A basic introduction for homelessness charities that want to find out more about social investment and the types of products that are available.
Introduction to Social Investment
A growing number of homelessness charities are beginning to use social investment to finance their work. But, as a new type of finance, lots of organisations are confused about what social investment is and how they can use it.
This briefing, produced in partnership with Big Society Capital, provides a basic introduction to social investment and the types of products that are available. It is aimed at readers with little or no knowledge of this topic and includes examples of how others are using social investment, the types of products available and where to find out more.
