Taking a step: Summit to end rough sleeping

National launch of StreetLink and summit showcasing successful local steps to end rough sleeping.

11 December | Arlington House, central London

About the event

On behalf of the Department for Communities and Local Government, Homeless Link hosted this invitation only, full-day, national summit that brought together local authority and charity leaders who can and have taken successful steps to help end rough sleeping.

This summit shared successful approaches from across England that have reduced the level of rough sleeping, including models of multi agency provision, effective preventative services, models of accommodation for rough sleepers and different approaches to implementing the No Second Night Out standard.

At this event, we also launched StreetLink - a new website and telephone line that will enable the public to alert local authorities in England about rough sleepers in their area, connecting them to local services and support available to them. To view the website please visit: www.streetlink.org.uk.

This was an invitation only event.
