Achieving high standards in the Quality Assessment Framework (QAF)

The Quality Assessment Framework is a list of standards that are used to review Supporting People services. This course will help you to understand the requirements of the QAF and achieve a high score for your service

What will you learn?

On completion of this course you will:

  • know why the QAF was redrafted
  • understand the changes contained in the redrafted QAF 
  • understand the key themes that run throughout the QAF
  • understand the importance of measuring outcomes and the implications on current practice
  • know the main requirements of each level in all five of the standards
  • be able to identify strengths and weaknesses of current activity against the redrafted standards
  • have drafted a basic action plan to consolidate activity at a ‘C’ level and to achieve levels B and A
