Future Ready Fund

The aim of the Future Ready Fund is ‘To protect and enhance essential and strategically critical services for single homeless people and support them in the transition to becoming sustainable’

This means we want to help organisations get ready for the future.

Exclusive Bonus Round of the future ready fund launched.

In addition to the normal Future Ready grants programme for 2013/14 we are pleased to offer a bonus round exclusive to our Homeless Link annual conference. Under this round you can apply for any amount between £5,000 and £25,000. The money will be given out live at the event.

The closing date for the bonus round of the Future Ready Fund is Friday 14th June 2013. All applications will be reviewed after this date and the 3 strongest will be asked to proceed to the next stage where they will be in with a chance to secure up to £25,000. These 3 applicants will be invited to the Annual Conference on the 16 July and will be asked to pitch their case live, in front of the conference audience, to the grants panel. 

If you wish to apply for the bonus round please include 'BONUS ROUND' at the beginning of your outlined preposal. The criteria for the fund is outlined in our Future Ready Notes at the bottom of this page.

What will we fund?

What do you need you do to make sure your organisation is still here in 2 years’ time?

We will fund proposals that;

• Lead to stronger better resourced organisations
• Prepare your organisation for change
• Build your skills and abilities to take advantage of new funding opportunities
• Build relationships or partnerships which strengthen organisations and help to attract funding and provide better services
• Make a real difference and will make sure organisations can continue to support clients in the best ways possible

Please note that we do not give out small grants to;

• run services of any kind
• undertake academic research
• projects that only have small / short term impact
