Working to end homelessness

In order to end homelessness, it is essential that the voluntary sector works in close partnership with local and national government agencies.    We believe that the following actions are key to turn our vision into a reality.

It is essential that we:

• Understand the current policy and practice context within which key policy decisions are made
• Work to stop the flow of people on to the streets in the first place
• Provide the right support services at the appropriate time
• Ensure that suitable accommodation is available
• Support organisations to ensure they operate effectively
