Partnership Manager North of England, Homeless Link

Sirea is based in South Yorkshire and her work background consists of over 20 years experience in working within the youth & community sector. She has worked for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council for 17 years in various roles in managing and developing projects and creating voice & Influence opportunities for young people of Black Minority Ethnic communities. She has also worked within the charity sector where she has developed innovative projects for new migrant communities from Eastern Europe.  She has managed a women’s refuge and in her previous role Sirea worked for a supported housing charity called Target Housing in partnership with St Martins Frontline Network. Sirea was the training co-ordinator as well as the frontline network co-ordinator within this role.

Sirea is passionate about driving forward the voices of those who are marginalised and discriminated against within society due to policy and systemic barriers. Sirea creates opportunities for frontline practitioners to collaborate and develop solution focussed practices for people experiencing homelessness. She creates this platform through the development of community of practice groups across the North.
