Women experience homelessness differently to men. Triggers of homelessness and experiences while homeless are unique to each person, however a person's gender and relationship to their gender informs this experience.
Homeless Link have created a framework to support homelessness services to embed a gendered lens, improving the response to women experiencing homelessness. This framework is a culmination of the research and recommendations on ‘what works’ for women experiencing homelessness. Women with lived experience and frontline services were key to its development.
This webinar will launch the framework to the sector. It will be chaired by Rick Henderson (CEO) with presentations from:
- Homeless Link
- Bristol Women's Action Group (Shelter & Nelson Trust)
- Glass Door
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the framework, and how to put it into practice.
