How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals primarily come via Newcastle Gateway. Some internal transfers are made between other Cyrenians accommodation services. Women's services also have the ability to hold a bed open for women due to be released from prison.

Referral procedure

Referrals are accepted by Housing Advice Centre, Probation, Social Services and are made via Newcastle Gateway Service.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

Staff available 24 hours.. Keywork system (3 residents per key worker), weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Provide support with living skills, healthy living, social and emotional wellbeing, and accessing employment and training.
