Single homeless people aged 18+ with support needs. Must be willing to engage with the support service. Priority given to applicants with a local connection to Braintree District Council area.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from local statutory agencies including Social Services, Probation Service and Braintree District Council. Do not accept self referrals and referrals from other agencies.

Referral procedure

Application forms via the Braintree Supported Housing Joint Referral Panel. Interview including needs and stay safe assessments. Require proof of ID and background reports. Allocations committee make final decision.

Support offered

3 full time staff on a rolling rota covering between 8am - 11pm and a sleep in cover between 11pm - 8am 365 days per year. Weekly support sessions provided with Achieving Economic Wellbeing, Making A Positive Contribution, Being Healthy, Staying Safe, Enjoying & Achieving.
