2 Concierge, 3 Project Workers, 1 Project Manager
All People All Places (APAP) has worked in Haringey for 10 years and Enfield for 4 years running the Enfield and Haringey Homeless Respite Service. Our mission is to help people break the cycle of homelessness working respectfully and efficiently with our guests and all partner agencies.
This is the most exciting time in APAP’s history as we expand our work into static shelters working with the Borough Councils.
We have 3 distinct projects over both boroughs. A static shelter in Haringey, a static shelter in Enfield and faith-based overnight respite in winter in both boroughs. Central to each project is a solutions-focused, casework approach to help people break the cycle of homelessness and work towards sustainable lifestyles.
We are seeking to increase our team with a combination of two overnight Concierge posts (Night Watch and Safeguarding), a Project Manager and 3 Project Workers. The Project Manager will have significant experience in casework, project management and managing resources effectively and well. You will have experience working with vulnerable adults that may be in homelessness and be paid or voluntary. The 2 Concierge posts (Night watch and safeguarding) are required immediately to work 4 on and 4 off nights in Enfield to end March 2020. These posts are working with vulnerable clients.
All posts are currently fixed term but additional funding is already being applied for so we aim for the Project posts to be ongoing too. All posts will require some evening, weekend work and overnights. The Concierge posts are overnight only with a 4 on and 4 off night shifts.
Our projects are being developed with Haringey and Enfield Councils and we work in partnership with voluntary and statutory agencies working in the homelessness sector in North London. The employer for these positions is All People All Places (APAP), a Christian charity working with people of all faiths and no faith. As a Christian charity APAP supports people from all faiths or none with compassion, a non-judgmental attitude and is non-proselytising. We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
We will start interviewing straight away as soon as applications are received so send a CV and covering statement straight away. Posts are advertised until 13 December 2019.
