Reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Manager, this role will play a key part in the delivery of marketing and promotion of our work both externally and internally, delivering campaigns, and supporting online fundraising and awareness raising activities, through the delivery of our digital strategy.

About the Role
In the last 2 years we have improved our communications work in order to reach more potential supporters. With ambitious targets for unrestricted income, we now need to make a real step-change in our external communications, particularly in digital comms, in order to get our message out to a wider audience, capture data and increase income.
The ideal candidate will bring an enthusiastic and proactive approach to digital communications, with strong copy writing skills and experience. They will be excited about the opportunity to create and produce engaging, visually attractive and on-brand social media collateral, website copy, mail shots and other marketing materials, whilst being results orientated, passionate and savvy about raising our online presence. A genuine interest and skill in writing compelling and engaging stories about the people we support in order to engage audiences and drive support is a must.
They will support the fundraising team with materials, promotion, organisation and delivery of events and campaigns, happy to work at occasional engagement and fundraising events and keen to support the fundraising and communications function as a whole. Internally, they will support the delivery of key communications and take ownership of updating and driving the use of our intranet.
