The main function of this role isto support the Chief Executive to run the building effictively by achieving coordination (with the team,building users,and contractors) and by encouraging and building upon excellent standards for the building. This is managedthrough: 

  • Managing Hall Hire, reception and care taking services, maintenance and health and safety at 395 High St North
  • Promoting Hall Hire so that it generates sufficient income to cover the cost of the building
  • Managing and motivating the team of care takers and reception staff
  • Delivering good customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Supporting volunteers and groups as part of the provision of the charity’s services and positive activities
  • Supporting a positive and open culture

Flexible working pattern is essential, as the role involves supporting a team who work on various shifts throughout the week. 

The building is open Monday to Sunday 8.30am to 11.00pm.   The staff work in sessions (morning, afternoon and evening sessions Monday to Friday and morning and afternoon sessions at the weekend.)
