The overall purpose of the Administrative Assistant post within a service is to ensure support is given across all administrative functions and to enable the service to operate successfully. This will include but not limited to filing, secretarial duties, answering phones, dealing with internal and external inquires, data inputting.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as good IT skills and the ability to adhere to set procedures. The candidate will be co-operative, reliable and conscientious. In addition, they will have excellent time management skills including the ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
