Senior Support Worker
We are seeking a dynamic, resilient individual looking to make a difference to people’s lives. We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker to give regular guidance to our support team working in homeless prevention. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to our residents while helping to manage to coach and support teams effectively to deliver the organisation’s aims.
You will be working with residents to develop their skills and overcome barriers to avoid the cycle of homelessness through commitment, collaboration and perseverance.
Self Help Community Housing Association have been operating for over 40 years and work with people with a range of support needs: this can include substance abuse; mental health; physical health; criminal offending; debt and money management. We are part of Bristol City Council’s commissioned homeless prevention services working closely with partners at the Salvation Army, Places for People, Second Step, Elim Housing and Live West on a constant basis.
