Evaluations and Reviews

Our Consultants carry out a broad range of evaluations and reviews for the sector.

Including:

  • Evaluating the impact of a project funded by a grant provider.
  • Reviewing the performance of a service to support an organisation to gain further contracts.
  • A review of an internal policy to present to commissioners or your Board.

We have also worked with Local Authorities to carry out evidence reviews around local homelessness provision and recommendations for improving support for people experiencing homelessness.

This work has involved both qualitative and quantitative research and outputs will often include presenting our findings and providing an in depth report to help to inform their commissioning plans.

A recent example of this was when we worked with a Local Authority to review their services for people sleeping rough. We interviewed people accessing those services, the local providers and offered best practice examples from comparative Authorities. The final report led to a significant change in the way that they commissioned Rough Sleeping provision and a larger investment for those services.

Evaluations can form an intrinsic part of your plans for growth and service development by ensuring that all practice is reviewed and reflected upon, and our consultancy service can take the weight off you to do this work, so you can still focus on the important work you do. From this, we can help you identify areas of research and use our expertise to collect the data you need.
