Are you working towards ending homelessness and rough sleeping in the South East region?

If so, join us for the South East Homelessness Forum to be held online on Wednesday 7th July 2pm-4.30pm.

There will be three presentations on the day covering the following:

  • Diversity and Ability – Talking on Neurodiversity, Digital Justice & Homelessness (Atif Choudhury)
  • Domestic Abuse Act and Kent Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (Yvette Hazelden – Look Ahead Care & Support)
  • MHCLG Update (Rebecca Ireland – Homelessness Advisor)

There will be four breakout rooms covering the three above presentations and also the following topic:

  • Out of Borough Placements – is this an issue in your area? Good Practice around notifying the receiving area and provision of support (breakout room only)

When registering, please state your preference for breakout rooms. We will endeavour to allocate your preference but this will also be influenced by group sizes.

A full agenda will be sent out nearer the event.

Please register for the event and your breakout room preferences via Zoom

Below is also a survey related to the first presentation on the day.

Diversity and Ability are conducting research into the interlinked nature between neurodiversity, disability and those who experience homelessness.

The survey aims to build a clearer picture of services available across the sector for service-users experiencing different forms of disablement. To do so, your participation would be greatly valued! This research is being conducted with the aim to improve outcomes for disabled people experiencing homelessness.

The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 31 May and the findings will be written into a report and made publicly available to the sector.
