Street Outreach Resources

Resources and training to support assertive street outreach

In 2018, as part of the Government's Rough Sleeping Initiative, Homeless Link was commissioned to deliver training to street outreach teams. We sourced training materials and good practice from our members to create a course informed both by frontline teams and by people with experience of sleeping rough.

This page collects the resources shared by our members, and will be updated over time. If you would like to submit material for inclusion, please contact Tasmin.

Huge thanks to everyone who shared their expertise, including: Julian House, P3, Changing Lives, St Mungo's, EASL, Expert Citizens, Basingstoke & Deane Social Inclusion Partnership, CGL, Elim Connect, Standing Together, Colin Dyson and David Gill. We're also grateful to Invisible People for enabling people on the streets to tell their stories: https://invisiblepeople.tv/
