This course is similar to the Introduction to Complex Trauma and Trauma Informed Care course for frontline staff but is aimed specifically at operational and senior managers.
Training Tuesday: Effective partnership working
By taking a person-centred whole-systems approach we increase the chances of achieving positive long-term sustainable outcomes for the people we support; especially those with complex needs. Successful partnership working can also help to increase the efficacy of the limited time and resources we have and reduce duplication.
This course will offer participants the opportunity to explore partnership working, to identify their local partners and the role they can play in supporting people to rebuild their lives. We will consider some of the key challenges and obstacles to collaborative working and how to overcome them.
What will you learn?
Module 1: The ‘what’: understanding partnership working.
Module 2: The ‘who’: identifying partners and their roles.
Module 3: The ‘how’: tools for effective partnership working.
By the end of the programme, participants will have learned to:
Understand and explain partnership working.
Describe the types of services and organisations working with people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.
Draw on a range of tools to help develop their approach to partnership working.
Integrate their learning into their current practice using a personal action plan.
Who is this course for?
Frontline staff and managers within the homelessness and supported housing sector.
