Share your views on a fairer homelessness funding system

Please join us to share your views on the problems with the homelessness funding system in England, and what changes you would like to see to the system. Anyone working for a Homeless Link member is welcome to attend this free event to shape the future of homelessness funding.

Date 8 July

Time 2:00 - 3:15pm

Members of the Homeless Link policy team will lead this listening session to hear from Homeless Link members as part of our work on the Treasury’s Value for Money review into homelessness spending across Government.

The review is a vital opportunity to fundamentally reshape Government policy on homelessness funding.

During this session, we're inviting Homeless Link members to help us articulate to the Government why we need a transformation of the homelessness funding system.

Join to help us make the case that quality support and prevention services can deliver improved effectiveness and value for money, but more importantly are the foundations for building a country free from homelessness.

Topics we will explore in this session

  • What does ‘value for money’ in homelessness spending mean to you?
  • How does the homelessness funding system influence your service delivery?
  • What does and doesn’t work about the system now?· How does this impact on people experiencing homelessness?
  • What might a better funding system, and homelessness system more generally, look like?

Have any questions?

You can contact the policy team at Megan.Hector@homelesslink.org.uk if you have any questions about the session, the Value for Money review, or our work more widely. We hope to see you there!·
