Join us for the homelessness sector’s summer conference
8-9 June, Nottingham
This summer, as Homeless Link marks 25 years, we’re bringing people from across the homelessness sector together at our flagship conference to reflect on what’s worked, learn from today’s realities and look ahead to the future.
Over two focused days, frontline workers, service managers and leaders from around the country will connect, share what’s working, tackle today’s challenges and explore what’s next, taking practical ideas back to their services.
Why Under One Roof
Homelessness services are under increasing pressure. Under One Roof offers protected time to step back, learn from others and reconnect with the bigger picture.
You’ll gain:
- insight from 25 years of collective impact
- practical learning grounded in real services
- connections that last long after the conference
- ideas you can use straight away
What an incredible few days for our team...connecting with so many passionate professionals all working towards the same goal — making a real difference in people’s lives. The conversations, insights and shared experiences have been truly inspiring (2025 attendee)

What to expect
Day One looks at where the sector is now, what’s shaped homelessness services over the past 25 years, what’s helping teams work under pressure today, and learning from lived experience and practice across the country. The day ends with the Excellence Awards ceremony and gala dinner a chance to celebrate the people, teams and partnerships making a real difference.
Day Two looks ahead, focusing on how services can respond to rising pressures, work better together and strengthen their impact.
The programme
Across both days, you’ll hear from peers and sector leaders and choose from practical breakout sessions covering key issues facing services right now, from supported housing regulation and renters’ rights to safeguarding, responding to domestic abuse and supporting workforce wellbeing.
Explore the full programme to find the sessions most relevant to your role and what you’re dealing with day to day.
Taking care of yourself
Alongside the programme, the venue offers time to slow down and recharge. You can book the gym, swimming pool and spa at the David Ross Sports Village in advance, or use the small gym at the Orchard Hotel. If you prefer some fresh air, take a stroll around the University Park Campus, with walking routes available from the venue website. And when the day winds down, the Orchard Hotel bar and lounge is a welcoming spot to catch up with colleagues.
