High risk offenders and people at risk of offending because of their current lifestyle or inappropriate accommodation. Must have a local connection to Blackburn with Darwen 3 years, have a current Probation officer, single homeless male and females

Unmanaged addictions, recent history of arson.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from agencies.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for an application form, completed by applicant and referral agency prior to interview. Need proof of ID, eg letter from DWP with NI number or from other referral agency, and relevant reports.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

2 part time staff visit residents two or three times a week for the first month and then frequency of visits is determined by need - generally 2 visits per week. These keywork sessions are based around a person centred support plan, with agreed goals, actions and outcomes. Staff provide support with managing and maintaining tenancy, managing finances, addressing debt, accessing education, training & employment, access to drug, alcohol & mental health agencies and leisure opportunities.
