Crisis accommodation for single homeless women, with complex high support needs. Support needs can vary domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, ex-offenders, substance and/or alcohol misuse.

Referral agencies

Referrals all come via Housing Advice Centre Gateway.

Referral procedure

All Referrals are via Newcastle Gateway. You need to be a registered user of the Newcastle Gateway to refer to this service

Support and accommodation


Support offered

The project provides 24/7 cover with 6 full time members of staff working on a Rota basis. Individuals are assigned to a Key Worker and are offered support by way of key working sessions. Risk Assessments, Support plans and WEBMES are agreed with individuals, key worker and external agencies,. These are reviewed every 3 months. Support around budgeting, welfare benefits, linking in with external agencies if not already, daily living skills, move on accommodation etc
