Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
People who are homeless or at risk of being homeless who have drug and alcohol problems. Must have a local connection to Wandsworth. Can take clients on scripts. Clients must be willing to address their drug & alcohol issues in a meaningful way and attend a structured day programme in the community. Move on is via the private rent deposit scheme once abstinence is achieved.

Referral agencies
Referrals can only be made via WCDAS Housing worker , SPEAR and Wandsworth Council Housing Options.
Referral procedure
Assessment interview. Require PSR, MG16, psychiatric reports if applicable. With applicant's consent, may request information from agencies/hostels they have previously been in contact with.

Support offered
2 staff based on-site 24 hour cover, emergency on-call system. Must attend weekly key work sessions and drug & alcohol day treatment in the community either non abstinent or abstinent for 3 months. This is a condition of residency Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Peer support groups, life skills workshops and seminars, including relapse prevention. Referrals to counselling. Individual counselling. Training for independent living.
