Offer free specialist housing law advice to the residents of Derbyshire. Housing Unit is made up of a expert range of solicitors and caseworkers who are all specialists in housing issues. Advise, assist and represent council, social & private tenants on issues including: Rent / mortgage arrears, Homelessness or becoming homeless, Notice to quit issues, Eviction / repossession, Deposits and bonds, Harassment from landlords and illegal evictions, Discrimination by a landlord or housing provider, Serious disrepair, Transfers and allocations, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders in relation to housing matters. Also have support workers who work with individuals who need 1-2-1 support to learn how to keep and manage their tenancies better.
