Homeless people. No local connection required. Must be able to claim housing benefit and be prepared to work 40 hours a week on a voluntary basis in return for personal allowance.

Who we cannot help

History of arson. History of violence. Chemically dependant individuals. Schedule 1 offenders.

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or email referrals@emmauscol.org.uk for application form. encourage informal discussions prior to interview. Probationary period of 4 weeks.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

Manager lives off-site. Staff available Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm. On-call system outside office hours, on-site support from 'responsible companions'. Use Outcomes Star system. Staff meet regularly with 'companions' to discuss individual support needs.
