Who do we help?

Single homeless people with low support needs who are prepared to work at least 40 hours a week as volunteers in Emmaus's recycling project. Can accept ex-offenders. Priority to those with a local connection to RB Greenwich or London in general.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency. Can accept referrals from probation.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 10am-5pm 020 8316 5398. Application form. Interview. Require proof of ID, eg birth certificate, passport, medical registration card. May require additional information if relevant. For a referral form and to find out more information at www.emmaus.org.uk/greenwich

Support and accommodation


Support offered

6 full time and 3 part time staff available on-site during working hours, 24 hour on call cover. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide advice and support around life skills, employment and training, benefits and budgeting. Offer training in basic first aid and food hygiene, health & safety, PAT testing etc.
