Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless men aged 25-60. Prioritise men with alcohol and drug addictions. Accept ex-offenders. Priority given to applicants from Watford and Three Rivers areas.
Who we cannot help
We do not operate a blanket ban on those with a history of violence or arson but treat each application on a case by case basis . We are unable to work with those with a history of child abuse due to the high risk posed Those with a history of violence, arson or child abuse.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept self referrals or referrals from any agency. those from prison and or on probation will have to provide us with a full Oaysis Risk assessment in order that we can action any referrals
Referral procedure
Contact by phone 8am-6pm. Application form completed by potential resident and agency. Interviews GROW will carry out a substance use assessment and a separate housing assessment each lasting from 1hour to 90minutes

Support and accommodation
Support offered
6 full time and 2 part time staff, plus volunteers, 24 hour cover. Residents meet with a member of staff at least weekly for advice and support around benefits, employment and move-on options. Residents have action plans with agreed outcomes. Weekly workshops and therapeutic classes. Refer residents to the local drug and alcohol unit if necessary.
