How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from LB Barking & Dagenham Homeless Persons Unit and Social Services.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-9pm. Interview. Application form. Require background information for Social Services referrals, attendance at interview with applicant and provision of ongoing support if necessary. Referrals received from Housing Team or Social Services – contact them in the first instance. They will complete a form and pass onto the service. Assessment will take place at the service.

Support offered

5 support staff on site daily 8am-9pm, night time security staff daily 9pm-8am. Individual support from a designated support worker, completion of a personalised support plan and risk management plan.
