Who do we help?

Young homeless people aged 16-25, including young mothers and babies, young pregnant women aged 16-25, ex-offenders and people with histories of alcohol and substance abuse. Priority given to people with a Newark and Sherwood connection.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency and Local Authority. Direct referrals can be made, and young people do not have to be approved by the local authority priority waiting list system.

Referral procedure

Phone or call in Mon-Fri 9am-11pm, Sat-Sun 9am-5pm for an application form or to arrange an interview.

Support offered

13 full/part time staff 24/7. Keywork system, weekly meetings. Staff support with welfare benefits, accessing education and training, cooking, hygiene, laundry and health matters. Residents' activity programme. Basic training in a range of skills, including qualifications and parenting skills are also provided.
