Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

16-25 year old young people with support needs. Must have been living in Salford for previous two years. Also have a parent and child unit for parents with a single child under 2. Route 29 Flats are for young people referred by Social Services and Route 29 only.

How to get a referral

Referral procedure

Can self refer through completing an application or be referred by a professional. Can email for a referral form or call between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday for further information. The applicant will be invited for an interview and references are required.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

7 support staff who work between 9 am and 9 pm. Each young person has an allocated keyworker. Key work sessions and customer involvement sessions are held regularly. Young people receive support around housing, health, education and employment and linking with outside agencies. Security staff work nights and weekends and give advice or signpost young people where necessary.
