How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept referrals from any agency via LB Tower Hamlets HOST. Most referrals come from LB Tower Hamlets Homeless Persons Unit, HOST and the City of London Outreach Team.

Referral procedure

Initial contact by phone Mon-Fri 9.30am-4pm. Risk assessment. Require probation and/or social work reports, if appropriate.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

14 full time and 2 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Tenancy sustainment officer Weds 10am-12 noon, meaningful occupation worker Thurs 1pm-6pm. Keywork system (6 residents per worker), monthly keywork meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes. Staff provide support around benefit claims, health, alcohol use, harm minimisation and resettlement.
