Who do we help?

Single homeless women with support needs, including care leavers, and those with substance abuse problems who are on a support programme. Must have a local connection to LB Islington.

Who we cannot help

Women with a history of violence or arson. Those whose support needs cannot be met by the project.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept agency referrals via LB Islington Supporting People Referrals Co-ordinator.

Referral procedure

Application and referral form completed prior to interview. Require proof of ID and risk assessment. Require proof of benefits / income.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

8 staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system in operation. Action plans with monthly reviews address move on, benefits, health care, substance misuse, employment and training needs. Can provide additional support around developing basic life skills.
