Housing options advice. Assessment of entitlement to housing assistance for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Temporary accommodation sought for applicants who are eligible and in priority need. Out of hours emergencies phone 0191 4562093.

Who do we help?

Any one who has enquiries regarding rehousing to council housing or other social housing providers, supported accommodation or is at risk of or is homeless. Priority given to those within the South Tyneside area, which includes South Shields, Jarrow, Hebburn, Boldon and Whitburn, or those with a local connection to those areas.
