Who do we help?
Young people aged 16-25 with support needs who are homeless or may be at risk of homelessness, including single parents and couples with children up to the age of 2. No local connection required. Can accept people with dogs.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency via St Basils Link or Youthline.
Referral procedure
Phone St Basils Birmingham Youth HUB Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Youthline (0300 303 0099) which is a partnership between St Basils and 4 other organisations. Interview, and needs and risk assessment at The HUB. Placed on pre-registered list if suitable. When vacancy arises clients are contacted by the projects. They also carry out up to date background checks.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
12 full time staff, 24 hour waking security. Keywork system (12 residents per worker), monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide advice and support around life skills, budgeting, accessing benefits, cooking, hygiene, sexual health, careers guidance, CV preparation, job search and interview techniques. Access to additional surgeries and support services such as family mediation, and learning skills and work.
