How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Can accept referrals direct from prison.

Referral procedure

Phone daily 9am to 8pm. Application form completed by Western Lodge staff at interview.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

2 full time staff, 1 part time available 9am-8pm. Key-work system (6-8 residents per key-worker), fortnightly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 4-6 months. Staff provide support around benefits, life skills training, including budgeting, hygiene issues and support networks. Staff make referrals to external agencies as required.
