Who do we help?
Single homeless, aged 18?50 with low support needs. Priority given to those who are street homeless, no local connection required. We do not accept applications from former residents of YMCA Walthamstow.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Do not accept self-referrals. Referrals must come from a referral agency. Either a local authority, probation officer, medical/educational professional, housing/homeless charity or other registered support provider.
Referral procedure
Supported Housing (303 bed spaces): Application forms available through St Mungo’s Single Homeless Hub in Waltham Forest, Housing Options at Waltham Forest and other referral agencies. No self-referrals, all referrals must be completed with a referral agency. Applicants are police checked. applicants are invited for an interview.
Unsupported Housing (20 bed spaces) Referral procedure: applications forms available directly from YMCA or from St Mungo’s.

Support offered
18 staff available, Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm, weekends 9am – 5pm. 24/7 reception service. Emergency on call system. Keyworking sessions with allocated support worker. Staff provide advice on employment, training, education, social skills & benefits advice. Drop in services from external agencies also hosted on site, such as employment fairs.
