St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity is committed to ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home and the support they need to keep it.
St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity is offering block grants of up to £5,000 to organisations across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. These grants can be used to provide individuals with grants of up to £500 to help sustain their accommodation and prevent homelessness or repeat homelessness.
Focusing less on a crisis response and more on the provision of early intervention, flexible grants which are responsive to what people communicate is needed to maintain the housing they are in.
Funding is open to organisations with an annual income below £2 million.
The fund provides direct support to individuals, while also enabling us to continue to test, learn and build an evidence base around what helps people sustain accommodation. In doing so, we hope to strengthen the case for others to develop similar, flexible funding approaches.
The closing date for applications is on 27th November 2026 at 5pm
