Lloyds Bank Foundation is offering unrestricted grants of up to £200,000 over four years to charities working to prevent homelessness. The fund will award around 40-50 grants to organisations across England and Wales supporting people at key transitions where the risk of homelessness is greatest.

Who it's for

Organisations supporting people at key transitions linked to homelessness risk:

  • Leaving prison
  • Leaving care
  • Escaping domestic abuse
  • Moving on from the asylum system after receiving leave to remain

Funding available

  • £100,000 for organisations with income under £100k
  • £200,000 for organisations with income between £100k and £2m

Key eligibility

Registered charities, CIOs or CICs in England or Wales (or Isle of Man), with income between £25,000 and £2m and at least one year's track record supporting the target groups.

Key dates

  • Application deadline: 5pm, Wednesday 9 September 2026
  • Shortlisting decisions: by 14 November 2026
  • Final decisions: by 18 December 2026
