We spoke to Founder and CEO, Daryll Theedom, about their work:
"Missing Linkz CIC is a community interest company founded through lived experience of addiction, homelessness and recovery. We connect people with the services and opportunities they need, ensuring nobody is left struggling simply because they do not know where to turn. Working alongside local charities, councils, healthcare providers and community organisations, we provide compassionate, practical support without judgement.
We support people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping or housing insecurity through street outreach, welfare checks, meals, essential supplies, advocacy and referrals. Our team helps individuals access accommodation, addiction recovery services, mental-health support, healthcare, benefits and other specialist provision. We remain alongside people throughout the referral process, helping to bridge gaps between services and giving each person the encouragement, dignity and consistent support needed to move towards stability and independence.
We are keen to build strong partnerships with other organisations so that, by working together, we can create a joined-up safety net through which nobody slips. We believe collaboration, shared knowledge and warm referrals are essential to ensuring vulnerable people receive the right support at the right time."
