On 05/03/2024, Homeless Link and Riverside Housing organised a Parliamentary Lobby under the banner of Ending Homelessness Together.

The Homelessness Minister Felicity Buchan, Shadow Homelessness Minister Mike Amesbury, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Housing Helen Morgan and the Co-Chairs of the APPG for Ending Homelessness Paula Barker and Bob Blackman all addressed the audience of homelessness sector leaders and people with lived experience.

We also heard from John Glenton from Riverside, Judith Banjoko from Shelter, John Chiko from Groundswell and Pam Orchard from Connection at St Martins, with a rousing ending performance from the Choir with No Name.

Overall, homelessness organisations met with over 50 MPs across the day and engaged over 70 through the lobby overall, making the case for the next Government to act to end homelessness. It was a really energising and imppactful day, with many follow up actions to take to keep homelessness on the political agenda in this election year.
