Build the skills and confidence to support people experiencing homelessness in Sheffield

Homeless Link is working with Sheffield City Council and partners across housing, health, criminal justice, and the voluntary and faith sectors. Together, our aim is to make homelessness in Sheffield rare, brief and non-recurring.

As part of this partnership, we're delivering a workforce development programme for frontline professionals across the city. People with lived experience of homelessness are helping to shape our priorities, so the learning is grounded in the realities faced by those most affected.

These courses have been fully funded by Sheffield City Council so all that is required from you is a one day commitment to attend the courses.

What you'll gain

  • Practical skills for providing effective, person-centred support
  • A trauma-informed approach that improves outcomes for the people you support and looks after your own wellbeing
  • Greater confidence in preventing homelessness from becoming entrenched or recurring
  • Access to shared tools and learning resources, built with partners across Sheffield

Who it's for

Frontline staff and volunteers working in Sheffield's housing, health, criminal justice, voluntary, community and faith services.
