This Focus Group is the third in our series and aims to bring together a small group of commissioners and external partners to hear about your experiences of working with Day Services and to learn how you think they can best fit into a comprehensive prevention, emergency and longer term response to homelessness.
Background
Over the next year, Homeless Link are working with Day Services across England to maximise their potential to deliver excellent services. We will be doing this by bringing services together and by co-creating a set of shared principles that outline the vision of what a good Day Service looks like.
To start this piece of work, we're bringing together key stakeholders including those commissioning local homelessness provision. Whether you commission a Day Service directly or are involved in commissioning homelessness provision more broadly, we're keen to hear how Day Service provision fits into your local service model.
About the Focus Group
The session will take the form of a group conversation exploring your local homelessness provision and how Day Services currently support this or how they could potentially be re-configured to better support the local response.
About the National Practice Team
The National Practice Team gather and share information on all aspects on how to run a great service from the overall approach you take (such as strengths-based practice), responding to different people and circumstances, to how to best support your workforce.
