This free practice forum is for frontline staff and managers of VCFS and statutory homelessness services.
The Women's Rough Sleeping Census aims to collect comprehensive data on women experiencing rough sleeping using a different method of data collection. The Census was originally started in London and has gradually expanded to other areas in England over the last three years.
The North East took part in the Women's Rough Sleeping Census for the first time in 2025 and this practice forum will hear from the services involved, how they got started, lessons learned and recommendations for others who are interested in taking part but don't know where to start.
