Coproduction. It’s a phrase we hear a lot, and something many of us aspire to integrate into our work. After all, the people who can speak about a system the best are often the people who have direct experience of it.

But making coproduction happen in a policy space can feel daunting, and while there is a proud history of coproduction in research and practice across the sector, examples to follow in policymaking are fewer. When do you start the process? What are the key ingredients to success? How do you make sure people are properly supported to speak up about the issues that impact them the most?

In this session we are joined by Sean Mullen and Lucy Woods from Revolving Doors to speak about their policy influencing work across multiple disadvantage. Come along to hear how they have made space for coproduction in their influencing work, pick up some tips and tricks to make it happen in your own work, and get involved in activities to test some new skills.
