Delivered by an accredited Immigration Adviser with extensive experience supporting non-UK nationals who are rough sleeping, this 3.5-hour session will explore the practical ways in which you can support non-UK nationals.
You'll learn:
- what constitutes ‘immigration advice’
- what you can do and what you can’t do as a non-accredited worker
- how to support someone to access legal aid
Part of our fully funded Supporting non-UK nationals training programme, supported by the Mayor of London. It is free to access for London-based organisations and you can join this session on it's own or along with other courses on the the programme.
Who is this programme for?
This course is designed for London-based frontline workers who support non-UK nationals experiencing homelessness, including:
- Homelessness sector staff
- Migrant support workers
- Local authority staff
