Following the publication of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy before Christmas, Homeless Link and Housing Justice are delighted to host this webinar, where MHCLG officials will introduce the strategy and answer questions.

The webinar will set out what is different and important in the strategy. What will the shift to prevention mean? What is the expected implication for local plans and local commissioning? And what changes have there been in funding? And what is the impact likely to be on the Voluntary and Community Sector.

Officials will also touch on some of the forthcoming MHCLG initiatives that will have an impact on the sector.

These sessions will:

Give a broad introduction to the strategy and prepare Homeless Link and Housing Justice members, and others across the sector for the changes that might follow.

Who should attend?

Strategic leads, managers and service designers responsible for homelessness and rough sleeping services in the voluntary and community sector. Local authority leads also welcome – but note that MHCLG are organising separate briefings which can be booked here

This is an opportunity to gain clarity, share best practice, and ensure your plans can make the most of national priorities.
